1959 European Beetle

1959 European Beetle, Working Semaphores, Mignonette Green, Clean Driver!
Here's a cool and stock early European Beetle that is nice enough to be proud of but not too nice to drive every day. It was found in a barn in Idaho a few years back after spending 6 years hibernating there. It had spent the previous 20+ years in a barn in Montana, too!
The body is in clean shape, impressively solid, and the exterior was recently given a fresh "driver quality" respray in the beautiful original color of Mignonette Green (L14). From the door jambs, decklid, and hood inward, the car is original paint. Details to note include the correct flat hood, icepick doors, original snowflake taillights, working semaphore turn signals, correct H rear apron, super solid original pan, and it just received new window rubber and body trim at the time of the respray.
The interior is impressive for a driver with European spec cloth seat upholstery, nice original door panels, original Mignonette Green paint, a brand new mohair headliner, a freshly restored original steering wheel, excellent original glove box liner, clean original in dash radio, and a cool original VW accessory under dash parcel tray as well.
Mechanically it is a good driver with a stock 36hp engine, original split case transaxle, original 6 volt electrical system, recent complete brake job, and near new radial tires, too. It was recently serviced and is ready to enjoy.
Overall it's a very clean, pretty, and unusual early Beetle to have some fun with. The roof rack and a car cover are included but the yellow California license plate and frame are not.
Please note that this cool Beetle is located in Santa Barbara, California and the full album of pics can be seen on my website.
