1962 Single Cab

1962 Single Cab, Dual Belly Door, Clean Mild Custom Driver!

Here's a dry, solid, and very presentable early Single Cab that is super clean and enjoyable.  This one offers some cool custom features, a few upgrades, and a lot of fun for the price.  It is well-suited for those of you guys looking for a good value on a early Truck to drive and not stress too much about.

Some of the details to note include safari windows front and rear, dual treasure chest doors, a Gene Berg short locking shifter, a Banjo-style steering wheel with Porsche horn button, speedometer and fuel gauge were restored by Ryan Ousley of Orange Empire Speedometer, a custom set of hoops and wood slats, lowered suspension, chromed slash end blade bumpers, and polished 5 spoke wheels, too.

The body is clean and very nice-looking although it is not a show Truck.  The paint has a nice shine, the body is generally straight and presentable, the gates are real nice, and there is some filler in the lower nose towards the V.  The Truck bed is well above average, the belly is nice and dry, and the front floor is great, too.  The underside is nice and dry as well.

The interior is clean, presentable, and features a correct hump-back seat with a fresh cover, commercial grey pressed board panels, a nice black floor mat, and the previously mentioned Banjo steering wheel and Berg shifter, too.  The radio hole was filled in at some point but that might be OK with someone intending to install an aftermarket stereo system.

Mechanically it is a good driver with a clean and good running 1600 dual port engine, lowered suspension, good tread on the tires which have about 2,000 miles on them, and the electrical system has been converted to 12 volts as well.  The coil and alternator are fairly new and were installed by Powerhaus in Torrance.  Thanks!

Please note that this Single Cab is located in Gardena, California.
