1966 Camper Bus

1966 Velvet Green Westfalia Camper Bus
Here's a great candidate for those of you who are looking for a clean and solid driver to camp in without the stress of harming a show quality restoration. This one is presentable and dry and not too nice to use regularly.
Some of the many features include the desirable factory color of Velvet Green, 1600 dual port engine, big nut transaxle, 12 volt electrical system, near new and slightly oversized radial tires, and a factory European locking steering column just to name a few.
The body is impressively solid, presentable, and the paint finish is driver quality. It looks nice for a driver and that is part of what makes this Camper so user friendly without the stress and white-knuckled driving of a show Bus. The floors are clean, dry, and the undercarriage is impressive as well.
The interior is clean, very functional for camping, and features the Westfalia folding Z bed, Mustard cushions, tables, cabinets, closet, ice box, and nice Salt and Pepper/Mesh Grey upholstery on the front bench, too. The original radio block off plate is in place and the Bus also has a factory European fahrt start/locking steering column that is also reflected on the original M code plate.
Mechanically it is a nice driver with a 1600 dual port engine, 46mm big nut transaxle (great combination for long drives), 12 volt electrics, and 15 inch Bus wheels with larger radial tires as well. Thanks!
