1966 Crew Cab

1966 Crew Cab, Velvet Green, Clean Older Restoration!

Here is a very good looking, solid, and enjoyable 1966 Crew Cab that saw a restoration in the late 1990's and has been part of a large vintage car collection since.  It has been driven sparingly since completion, has some small flaws around, but is still a very respectable Truck that presents beautifully today.  It is a great example that is nice enough to be proud of but not so nice that you can't relax and enjoy driving it.

The body and paint look great for a driver and is very solid but does have some small imperfections around including some small chips and some dings in the truck bed that have existed since before the restoration.  The bed is in very nice shape but has some light dents and pitting that was cleaned and painted over.  A set of new bed wood slats were installed and are still looking pretty good today.  The gates are beautiful, well above average, super straight, and as solid as they get.  All of the doors, decklid, apron, both pointed end bumpers, and the 14 inch wheels are correct for the Truck, too.  The body and window rubber were refreshed at the time of the repaint as well.  Inside the treasure chest is fairly clean as well with a nice solid floor and both of the original gas tank divider panels in place.  The battery tray was patched long ago and the front floor corners look to have been replaced as well.  Overall the Bus is very clean and solid now with excellent undercarriage, outriggers, and jacking points, too.

The interior is also very clean with an excellent original dash, beautiful black steering wheel, very nice grey commercial pressed board paneling, correct black rubber floor mats, and the seats have nice but not original style covers.  One of the popout window latch tabs has popped a weld and will need to be repaired to work properly.  Other details to note include the correct 1966-1967 turn signal switch, correct 80mph speedometer, and the original Crew Cab only rear seat stand.
Inside the Truck is very sterile and tidy.

Mechanically this Crew Cab is fully turnkey, very stock, and features a 1500 single port engine, fully synchronized reduction box transaxle, factory sway barred front end, and has been converted to 12 volts for added reliability, quick starts, and brighter lights.  The radial tires have good tread and the wheels feature grey commercial hubcaps, too.

This desirable Velvet Green Crew Cab is ready for a new owner and is priced to move at $31,500.  Thanks!

Please note this 1966 is located in Dallas, Texas.
