1967 Walkthru Camper Bus

1967 Camper Bus, Walkthru Seating, Fresh, Clean, and California Black Plates!

This super solid and good looking Camper has a few mild custom touches and upgrades that will appeal to those looking for a respectable Bus that can keep up on the road and turn heads while getting you there!

Some of the features include starting as a very dry California Bus, fresh and presentable Sealing Wax Red and Light Beige Grey paint, desirable factory Walkthru seating, a fresh 1914cc dual carbed engine, rebuilt big nut/freeway flier transaxle, front disc brakes, factory 12 volt electrics, safari windows, and an original Volkswagen roof rack, just to name a few!

The body is clean, very presentable, and while the paint is not show quality, it's plenty nice looking for a Camper you can actually use for its intended purpose.  The doors, decklid, doglegs, and apron are all correct for 1967.  The floors are way above average, clean, and solid.  The aluminum window frames are beautifully polished and feature crystal clear new glass, too.  A look beneath the Bus shows just why car collectors from all over the globe seek cars in sunny California, they are drier than most places!

The interior is fresh, very clean, and features some Westfalia and Westfalia-styled components with some mild custom touches.  The front seats are nicely upholstered in the correct Mesh Grey/Salt and Pepper material, rear cushions in the mustard, Walkthru jump seat, and the nice Westfalia plaid curtains, too.  Overall it is very tasteful, has a great vintage feel, is functional, and practical for camping in.

Mechanically the Bus is a nice and powerful driver with low miles on a professionally built 1914cc dual carbed engine from Bear's Machine, a rebuilt big nut/freeway flier transaxle, front disc brakes, and factory 12 volt electrics as well.  Other features include a deep oil sump, ceramic-coated performance exhaust with thermal wrapping, an Optima gel cel battery, and very nice white stripe radial tires, too. It starts right up, runs well, and has more power than a stock Bus.

This one can keep up with modern traffic and get you to the campsite as comfortably as you can in a nearly 50 year old Split Bus!  Thanks!
