1970 Karmann Ghia Custom

1970 Karmann Ghia, Clean Traditional Resto Custom!

This Ghia was built approximately 2 years ago, was put away in a garage, and has not been driven any significant miles since it was finished.  It's very presentable, not a show car, and would make a very enjoyable driver or occasional cruiser for a new owner.  It would be hard to build one to this same level for any less than this is being offered for.

The body and paint were professionally done by Jimmy Braxmeyer of Vintage Volkswagen Restorations. The color is Porsche Guards Red and it is very eye-catching.  Details to note include the painted blade bumpers, the blinkers and side markers were shaved for a cleaner look, a set of early Porsche headlights were installed, and there are some patches on the underside of the floor pan.  Overall it's a nice-looking custom with some old school California look touches.

The interior is fresh, needs a few minor finish details, and includes custom seats with arm rests, a custom steering wheel, new carpeting, and the all-metal dash has been smoothed and painted as beautifully as the rest of the car.  Dyna Mat sound deadening was installed to keep road noise down and a digital display CD player with auxiliary was added as well.

Mechanically the car is a driver with a 1600 single port engine, new brakes including front discs, adjustable front beam, and a set of polished 8 spoke wheels with low profile tires with great tread, too.  It runs and drives nicely and I can text a few videos of it running, driving, and going down the road to any seriously interested parties.  Thanks!

Please note this clean Ghia is located in Vista, California.
